The Abbey Court, Scout Troop was set up to provide our pupils with an additional opportunity to support their social skill development in a different but safe environment. Our Scout Troop is run by the Scouting Association and trained school staff assist pupils to work towards achieving a range of Scouting badges. In addition, they are involved in both local community and global projects. It is important that our pupils have the opportunity to develop a sense of personal responsibility and increase their self-esteem, Scouts provide wonderful opportunities for the development of these life enhancing skills.
