Fundraising

Over the past two years, the Trust has been focused on fundraising for Larkin Farm, the Rural Activity Centre on the Primary site.  We have applied for grants to assist us in this work but have been astonished by the generosity of the families and friends associated with the school. We desperately want to complete phase two of the farm project and then support the school in continuing to improve the facilities available to the pupils. Perhaps you can help us!
Here are some simple ways of supporting our continued fundraising:
  • Company / Business donations- you may work for or know of a company or business who sponsors a charity annually and you could put us forward for such a position.

  • Matched funding - some of our supporters have found that the companies they work for will ‘Match Fund’ the money we raise as part of their charitable donations. Perhaps you could see if your employer has such a scheme in place?
  •   Join in with our Trust Lottery – it is £10 per number for the whole year to enter the monthly draws September to July. Details can be found at the School Office. You could consider buying an Abbey Court Trust Lottery Gift Voucher for a friend or family member for their birthday, Christmas or just as a treat!

  • Do you buy items from Amazon? If so you can help us by signing up to Amazon Smile - just go onto amazon.co.uk and choose Abbey Court School as your charity. Then click onto smile.amazon.co.uk each time you order (there are prompts when you go to the website). We will then receive a donation from Amazon based on the amount purchased through this scheme. It couldn’t be easier!!
