Art and Design offers all pupils an enjoyable means of self-expression that can impact on the way they feel about themselves, giving children opportunities to look, learn, explore and achieve through a broad range of skills, techniques and materials. These include drawing, painting, 3D modeling, 2D and 3D design, textiles, printing, IT and photography. Introductions to sensory, cultural and historical contexts enables observational skills which aims to enrich students’ imagination and ambition. This gives an appreciation and understanding of the visual and tactile world around them and the significance of different Art and Design forms.
